Within and around the Cottonwood commercial-grade play structure, there is a plethora of opportunities for laughing and exhilarating activity to be experienced. The architecture of the artwork is comprised of a collection of distinct islands of activity rather than a single big building, which allows for more flexibility. Each of these distinct zones is linked together in some way, whether it's by a bridge, a pod climber series, or a standard overhanging climber sequence. Spiral Slide with open air at the end of one island. Inverted Arch Ladder at the end of another island (with a semi-hidden Bench Panel on the ground below). A Double Slide and the first of a pair of Talk Tubes can be found on the island's second section. Who knows where the child's voice will travel and who could be listening on the other end of the line. A third island has a Wheel of Activity on the ground level and a Right Turn Slide on the upper level. In addition to being constructed of robust stainless steel and plastic, this ADA compliant playscape is designed to withstand years of usage by visitors and to exhibit exceptional resilience against weather damage.
