River City Play Systems provides reliable nationwide shipping, local delivery and pickup options, and professional installation services to make your experience fast and seamless. Shipping
We ship anywhere within the contiguous 48 United States using trusted parcel and freight carriers. Most orders arrive within 2-10 business days depending on location, product type, and carrier scheduling.
Free Shipping: Many of our products include free shipping within the contiguous United States. Larger or heavier items that require freight delivery may incur additional charges based on weight, destination, or special delivery requirements. Any applicable freight costs will be clearly shown at checkout or on your quote before purchase.

- Wooden Playsets and Swing Sets & Residential Swing Sets & Playsets: 2-15 business days
- Trampolines: 2-15 business days
- Basketball Hoops: 2-15 business days
- Quick Ship Commercial Playgrounds: 2-15 business days
- Custom Commercial Playgrounds: 8-14 weeks
- Pedal Karts: 2-8 business days (local & ground), 5-15 business days (freight)
- First Team Inc. Basketball Hoops: 2-15 business days
- Loose Surfacing (Wood Mulch / EWF): 1-3 business days
- Rubber Mulch: 2-15 business days
Local Delivery: Customers located within approximately 75 miles of San Antonio, Texas may qualify for expedited local delivery through our in-house team. Local deliveries are often faster than standard freight and can be coordinated together with professional installation. Please contact us for availability, lead time, and rates for your area.
Freight Shipments: Delivered curbside unless otherwise noted. Some deliveries require forklift or hand unload; in rare cases, a forklift on site may be necessary.
- Delivery Days: Typically Monday-Friday
- Scheduling: Carrier calls one business day before delivery
- Curbside Delivery: Liftgate to ground and pallet jack to the end of a paved driveway
- Assistance: Drivers provide curbside service only; please have help available for moving items

Pickup in Store
Choose Pickup in Store at checkout for eligible products. Available for most in-stock items at our warehouse and showroom locations.
- Availability: Same-day or next-day pickup for in-stock products
- Notification: You’ll receive an email or text once your order is ready
- What to Bring: Order confirmation and photo ID
- Pickup Hours: During normal business hours (varies by location)
Ship to Store
For items not immediately in stock, you can choose Ship to Store and pick up from your preferred River City Play Systems location once it arrives. We’ll notify you as soon as it’s ready.
Installation
River City Play Systems offers professional installation for most of our products, including playsets, swing sets, basketball hoops, trampolines, and commercial playgrounds. Installation is available throughout Central and South Texas, including the San Antonio and New Braunfels area.
- Scheduling: We’ll coordinate timing and site readiness after purchase
- Local Delivery + Install: Many local deliveries can be scheduled with installation for faster setup and single-visit service
- Outside Texas: We can ship nationwide and help connect you with a local installer

Orders & Tracking
- Typically, within three business days you’ll receive either an estimated lead time or a tracking number.
- Small items ship via UPS or FedEx Ground; large items by freight carrier.

Customer Responsibilities
- Inspection: Verify all boxes before signing the Bill of Lading (for example, “1 of 2,” “2 of 2”).
- Damage or shortages: Note any issues on the delivery receipt.
- Access: Ensure a safe, paved, and accessible area for curbside delivery.
- Unloading: Have assistance ready; carriers are limited to curbside service.
