The Mankato play structure provides a variety of exciting spaces for youngsters to discover. The Hex Roof provides cover for a vast hexagon-shaped space, which is the focal point of the design. It is possible to get to this place by crawling through the Tube Bridge, which connects the adjacent platform. As an alternative, visitors can climb one of three linked climbers to reach the hexagonal area. These climbers are the Spiral Climber, the Pod Climber, and the Vertical PE Rock Climbing Wall. In addition, there is an interactive Gear Panel and a 4-foot Straight Slide in this section. As a result of the floor being divided into triangular pieces of varying heights, there are several opportunities for youngsters to sit and socialize in a natural environment. A Double Slide, as well as a metal barrier with a Ship's Wheel, can be found on the other side of the structure, across the Tube Bridge from the structure. Half Math Panel is located on the ground level, just below the Ship's Wheel, where youngsters may practice writing down and solving simple math problems on a large white board.
